Rob Meyer, Chief Executive Officer - NAG Group

[Rob Meyer photo] Rob has over 26 years experience in corporate management holding various positions in a wide range of industries. Before coming to NAG, Rob spent ten years at the Gas Research Institute, managing the development hardware, software and process technology in areas such as gas exploration and development, power generation, and industrial processes. Previous to this, Rob held positions in marine transportation and industrial machinery design and fabrication. During his time working in marine transportation, Rob designed and developed one of the first systems in the US for online fleet management.

Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Math & Computer Science and his Master of Science and Doctor of Science in Transportation and Urban Systems Engineering, all from Washington University (St. Louis). His graduate work focused on the development of multivariate software models for decision-making in transportation systems. As part of his studies he performed sponsored research for the US Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the US Army.

Ian Reid, Chief Commercial Officer - NAG Group

Ian has been with NAG for over 20 years and has held various technical and commercial positions within the company during this time. Most recently he was Vice President for Business Development and he continues to lead a worldwide team with responsibility for developing strategic partnerships with software and hardware organisations.

Ian is a member of the IFIP Working Group 2.5 on Numerical Software has acted as technical advisor on various high-end computing procurements. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Arithmetic and his B.Sc. (Hons) class I in Mathematics and Computer Science at Lancaster University. Ian holds several non-executive directorships.
